Aspen Tree (2019)

“I knew immediately that it was possible to create wonderful images on location... We were in the shadow of the mountains, the light was cool and calm and the wind was not agitated. The trunks of the Aspen trees were greenish and the leaves a vibrant yellow. The forest floor was covered in reddish bushes. It was quiet and visually calm, and would have been ideal for a color photograph.” (Ansel Adams)
